New training routine

October 7, 2011 By Stan Zaslavsky

I’m glad I’ve set up enough of a discipline within my subconscious – because I woke up at 5.50 this morning and the training was meant to be starting at 6.

I didn’t let that stop me and decided to get there anyway.

It’s one thing to think positive and its another to do it and walk the talk.

I ended up arriving at 6.12 and missed most of the warmup – but at least was there for the main part.

The guys were swimming 6×100, then 4×75 easy effort easy and effort easy effort. and then 1x800m. So it was still a decent distance – I’m finding that I can keep up reasonably well with breaks in between – but on the longer distance I’m way behind – this is the next thing to overcome and focus on technique.

Will get there soon enough
