Run Melbourne – here we go

Well tomorrow is it – all of the training from the last 6 months has come to this and although it doesn’t feel quite as serious as a marathon – because I’ve never done this course – there’s a little bit of nerves there – which is good.

The plan so far is to keep around the 5 min pace and we’ll see how I go – because last time I did a half marathon at Sandy – I didn’t really know much and certainly didn’t keep to a particular pace and still ended up with 1.44.

But this time around I haven’t been swimming weekly, so the fitness is at a different level.

Will be very interesting to see combined with how wild the weather is meant to be – 6-11 degrees during the day, rain with possible hail – good fun!
